Sea Tour Athens Riviera

fleves-sounio-04

Private tour: Up to 8 people
Duration: Discover our beautiful Athenian gulf Athenian Riviera with this fun half day full tour daily or half day cruise.

The tour starts in the morning from our meeting point on the coast of Athens Athens Riviera.

We start the cruise along the coast with a first quick stop at today’s military base, Fleves – a small island emerging from the turquoise sea.

The tour continues to Artzedas, an uninhabited island in the Saronic Gulf, where there is a small cave that can be visited either by swimming, snorkeling or diving. Our next destination is Patroclus Island, or Gaidouronisi (meaning “donkey island” in Greek) – a small, private island almost opposite Cape Sounio, a perfect place to enjoy the wildlife and the peaceful atmosphere.

To continue, we cruise directly to Cape Sounio, which has been recognized since prehistoric times as one of the most special places of worship during the Greek archaic, classical and Hellenistic period.

We stop for a swim in small beaches next to the coastline and in the open waters with a wonderful view of the temple of Sounio from the 5th century BC. We anchor at a distance and swim on the beach for coffee, fruit and snacks at a nearby restaurant overlooking the Temple.

Sounio will be our final destination for lunch. You will be able to enjoy traditional, delicious, Greek food in the best restaurants by the sea just below the Temple of Sounio.

The return trip, along the coast and directly to Athens, will offer you a more romantic atmosphere and feeling as the sun sets right in front of us.

What a wonderful way to spend your day in Greek waters…
